Never ever again
Pros: Staff were friendly and always helpful. They all do what they can with what they have. Location was perfect for me to catch the bus to work which was the reason for my trip. My room was quiet even though it faced some bars. The lanai is huge and awesome to sit out on while working on my laptop. The bed was fairly comfortable as were the pillows (no I did not take the pillow cases off nor the sheets because quite frankly I didn't want to know what they looked like) Cons: I spent the first 2 hours after checking in late at night cleaning my room. I went to open a drawer and my hand was stuck to the drawer with something sticky. Under the coffee pot was a heap of something slimy/greasy...Any area that is a high touch area in the room had a build up of prints and goo on it (doors, door knobs, light switches, etc...) I am a nurse and there were high number of COVID cases every day. I knew the hotel was older and I didn't expect perfection but I did expect cleanliness. I spoke to housekeeping the next day and they bleached the heck out of the room and thoroughly cleaned it. I made sure to tip them every day after that and told them I would as long as the room stayed cleaned. I did not remove my shoes while in the room except to go to bed. There isn't much housekeeping can do about the carpets. They are heavily soiled, sticky and just plain yucky. Two of the outlets did not work (I tried to plug stuff in but the plugs just immediately fell out on the floor). I did make do and stayed my whole trip but I will not be staying there again.
Pros. The location was excellent
Cons. The rooms are aging to the point of disrepair.
Pros. Location was good.
Cons. The added prices was not as clear as it could be. I was charged more than I expected.
